Hello, I’m Jamie –
I founded Creative Input to help people find greater joy and success through improved communication. I do this through a framework I developed called Human-Kind Communication™ – and bringing this to you has been a lifelong journey.
About Me
When I was a young girl, what I loved the most was crawling into people’s brains. I wanted to know – why do people think, feel, and behave the way they do?
This question led me to pursue theater and music, spaces where I could fully inhabit a character and immerse myself in the emotional heart of a song.
Ever curious, my desire to learn more about us humans led to a graduate degree and post-graduate work in Organizational and Educational Communication. Ultimately, I spent over 30 years teaching, consulting, and directing programs for private companies and universities before I founded Creative Input.
Human-Kind Communication™
After a lifetime of studying how people show up around one another, I realized that there are four elements that define the quality of our communication – Mindfulness, Intention, Invitation, and Kindness. When any one of these elements is missing, the chemistry is off, and we are less than our best selves. Oh, but when these elements are combined, the chemistry is magical, and we can be fully human.
This is what Human-Kind Communication™ means: Be fully Human. Be who you are. Be Mindful of what you are thinking and feeling and how you are behaving. Be Intentional about your purpose for communicating. Be Invitational by creating a safe communication environment and inviting curiosity – a willingness to learn and grow. And be Kind while you’re doing it – be honest, be respectful, and assume the best intentions on the part of others.
Creative Input
I chose the name Creative Input because I want to encourage you to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and approach challenges from unique perspectives. Also, because the focus is on collaboration – I actively involve you in the consulting, coaching, and learning process.
When we work together, there will be humanity, honesty, humor. Above all else, I promise to CARE about your joy and success.

The meaning behind the logo
My logo is based on the Triskele, one of the oldest Celtic symbols. The Triskele symbol, otherwise known as the Triskelion, is a trilateral symbol consisting of three interlocked spirals. The Celts associate a variety of meanings to the Triskele, including movement and personal growth.
In my version, the three inner spirals represent the elements of mindfulness, intention, and invitation and the outer spiral represents the element of kindness.
